Another in my series of Mary and Child.
What kind of being, mortal or otherwise, would look at a broken, broken world and decide, against all odds, to bring new life into it.
There is no right or wrong answer, but I believe the answer determines your life.
"Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger, together with all malice. And [for the love of God, would it kill you, just once, to try to] be kind to one another."
Ephesians 4:31-32 [with some paraphrasing by yours truly]
2020 was a rough year. Locked down, terrified of the very air people were exhaling. And yet, despite every warning, children continued to be born.
I wish I could take that as a sign that "life goes on", but my world view that year was a little bleaker than that. Instead, I just wanted to portray that sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where none of us have an answer. All we can do is hold on to each and try to ride out the storm.
