Another in a series of Mary and Child.
I was inspired by the aromatic nature of frankincense, one the gifts of the Magi. In this painting I wanted to depict Mary and Child as existing in that liminal space between Heaven and Earth, as vision that is so real, but also might blow away in the wind at any moment.
